Accessible Birding Outing

Join us for an excursion through the woods to experience the wonder of our local birds! This accessible outing will focus on introducing birding to people of all ages and abilities. This outing is designed to be inclusive and accessible to people with any accessibility challenges resulting from a disability or health concern. Accessibility Information: The outing will be 0.7 miles entirely on a paved asphalt path. The path has an average positive slope of 3.4% and average negative slope of -3.0%. The maximum positive slope is 8.4% and the maximum negative slope is -7.9%, both of which are only in very short sections less than five feet. There are accessible bathrooms in the nature center that will be open. There are two ADA accessible parking spaces, one of which is an accessible van parking space.
