Pop Up: Signs of Spring-Woodcock and Skunk Cabbage

Join us as we walk through the woods searching for some of the first signs of spring. Skunk Cabbage is one of the first wildflowers to emerge, and has some super special adaptations that we will talk about on the walk. After finding the skunk cabbage, we will head up to the prairie edge for sunset to see if we can catch a glimpse of the magnificant sky display of the American Woodcock! 

The hike will be moderate to intense as it does involve some off trail "bushwacking" and climbing over and under some fallen branches. The hike in total will be about 2 miles, and part of it will be after the sun goes down.
